We know why you’re here – you saw this post on your LinkedIn feed and figured you’d clickthrough to see what this was all about. And I appreciate your interest! So let me reward that curiosity and tell you a bit more about who I am and why I’m here.
I’m Phil Heim, a Toronto marketing strategist and self-proclaimed marketing nerd, and it’s been quite the journey these past few years going from new grad to full-time professional. Along the way I’ve learned a thing or two, things I feel could help shape the industry I’m obsessed with.
You see, I’m also someone with a voracious appetite for continued learning and personal growth (hence ‘nerd‘). And if you’re here, there’s a good chance you’re someone like that too. But one of the things I’ve learned is that everyone – even the most eager among us – could use a nudge every now and then.
Which brings me to the why behind it all. Why am I here? What’s the reason behind this site’s existence in the first place?
That answer is simple: to be the nudge that propels people forward.
My goal is to build this site into a meaningful tool for marketers and young professionals in Toronto alike. To build a tool that helps marketers create value for the companies and clients they serve. To build a tool that helps young professionals learn how to take charge of their own development, the way my mentors helped guide me along in my own growth.
